To: All Customers and Suppliers
Subject: COVID-19 Update
Cicoil LLC is an essential supplier of products to the United States Department of Defense, with DPAS-rated contracts. We are also a critical component supplier to the aerospace industry, and to the medical testing/diagnostic industry. As such, we are exempt from business closure per the “Safer at Home” order enacted in Los Angeles County on March 19, 2020. We will remain open with business running as usual, while taking careful steps to ensure social distancing, remote working where possible, and other mitigating actions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Any supplier to Cicoil LLC, is also a provider of defense articles, critical aerospace components, and critical medical diagnostic components. If you are a supplier located in LA County, then your company also is considered an essential business, as specified in the “Safer at Home” order.
Of course, it is ultimately up to every individual business to ascertain their exemption status. If you are a supplier to Cicoil, and you are closing your operation in California, please contact your Cicoil purchasing representative.
The exemption can also be found at a Federal Level defined by CISA (Cyber Infrastructure Security Administration), where the Presidential Directive defines 16 critical infrastructure sectors whose assets, systems, and networks, whether physical or virtual, are considered so vital to the United States. Cicoil and our Supply Chain are vital under the Defense and Industrial Base Sector for military products and the Critical Manufacturing Sector, as we provide military and commercial aerospace products critical to the infrastructure of air travel.
Thank you for your continued support during this time period.
